Solid flow rate: Belt Conveyors

A standard chain is a dynamic calibration tool used to simulate the loading of materials on integrating scales and belt feeders.
The calibration of the standard chains is used for the testing of mechanical belt scales and for the calibration of integrating scales and high-performance electronic belt meters which cannot be calibrated by tests with materials.
During calibration, the standard chain is placed on the conveyor belt and fixed at both ends, so that it does not move in the weighing area. The chain turns on the surface of the running belt conveyor. Its known weight represents a dynamic load for the balance and thus constitutes the reference weight for calibration.
